Ingredients
- Oranges 4
- Champagne 750 mL
Method
- Chill the champagne in the fridge over night
- Wash and squeeze out the juice from the oranges
- In a champagne glass combine 2/3 of champagne with 1/3 of freshly squeezed orange juice.
Garnish: You can garnish the champagne glass half a slice of thinly cut orange.
Note: This is one of the easiest cocktails that I ever made, and yet is one of the most festive ones. It is a brunch must have.
Make sure that the champagne that you use for this cocktail is of a good quality.
Fun facts: The Mimosa Actually Came From France- You can thank the French for the Mimosa. While the British are responsible for Sunday Brunch, it is the French that coined the meal’s signature beverage. The first Mimosa was actually served at The Ritz Hotel in Paris in 1925. Frank Meier is said to be the inventor of the drink.
